OUR MISSION
The official association for Campus Recreation professionals in the state of Georgia. We are an affiliate of NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation. The institutions, professionals, and students in the state of Georgia have been active in NIRSA for many years and met regularly at workshops, conferences, and tournaments. The history and accomplishments of the schools and people in the field of campus recreation in Georgia are highly ranked compared other states. GRSA was founded in August 2010.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of this Association shall be to foster and enhance the quality of recreational sports programs in the various settings throughout the state by means of professional meetings, publications, the dissemination of ideas, and the maintenance of policies consistent with the NIRSA philosophy.
